what do you want to know about them. I was close to clothing the number 3 before I screwed up my wrist and hands doing steel bending. I cant even barely do wrist curls anymore without feeling the bones moving around in my right wrist.

What is your goal and I'll help you from there. Grippers have very little if any carry to other things than closing grippers. I dont even think they are good for hypertrophy to tell you the truth. So if your looking for hypertrophy I'll guide you that way, if your looking for hand strength I'll guide you that way to. If you wana close grippers I'll help you to I just need to know your goals.
You are not ready for a 300lb gripper by any means no offence. You have the number 2 gripper from your other post. Unless you are closing the #2 for reps in the 20s i wouldnt move up.
I have COC gripper trainer, 1, 2, 3, 4,
I have an adjustable gripper
I have some gripper like things that I have made
So let me know what your goals are and I will guide you along.
I have experience in all forms of grip from bending steel and odd objects to grippers.

I think you'll have a few people interested in what you have to say. I admit I'm a slave to the straps. I can barely hold 315lbs. :(

what do you guys want to know on grip I'll write about anything you want.
A tip for improving the grip for holding the bar is get a pair of thick gloves and deadlift with those.

I do deads with 365 and I can shrug up to 675 but I can't hold the bar with 315. Tips on how to improve my grip strength would be great.

Sort of makes you feel like you're just masturbating in the gym as there is no way you could actually lift that much in the real world. Unless of course your furniture has straps on it...

Ok you need the ability to be able to get that nice tight grip on the bar. First off you need to forget using straps on some of your exercises for a little bit. Its a sacrifice that is worth it. Or if you cant give that up you need to do a few sets without it on your pull movements. On these sets as I said earlier you need to get a thick pair of worker gloves and wear those on your set. Using a thick bar brings into the thumb more so that you need for holding onto a bar. Thick bar lifting is a sport in itself. 3 days out of the week I would also work on time holds. a 10 second hold, a 30 second hold, and a 1 minute hold for 2 sets.
So over all remove straps from exercises for a short time 1-2 months before slowly implementing that back in. If that can not be done make at least 1-2 of your work sets on your pulling movements strapless. If you can make the pulling movement an olympic pull it causes more force for the bar to slip out of the hand. Not a snatch though a clean pull or a power clean. For your time holds 3x a week wear the work mans gloves.
Pinch grip and other grips and thick bar work will really not increas the power to hold on to a smaller bar.
Also on your days off I want you to make a tight fist till it almost hurts for 10 seconds of 3 sets.

Its just something i do at work other than masturbate and sleep lol. i can actually rep my coc 2 for 34 reps. i was looking into an adjustable spring gripper called the vise. What do you recommend?

The adjustable grippers are nice, but the carry over to a COC gripper is not at all there. I was crushing my Ivanko supper gripper at a very high level yet had a hard time with the COC when I trained with the COC I had a hard time crushing the Ivanko gripper. If your goal is the number 3 stick with the COC grippers.
I would pick up the COC 2.5 and start working with that in addition to implementing strap holds and over crushes. Are you fermilar with those 2 kinds of the techniques the strap holds and the over crush. Also if your not start training your thumb it is very important for crushing grippers.

no problem. The thumb needs to have a strong base to support the pressure of the gripper against it. so it needs to be alot tougher than you think most #3 closers can pinch 2 45 plates.

Steel, I need your help on getting forearm hypertrophy. My forearms are VERY strong, but unfortunately they've decided that they don't want to be very big, so I am needing some help here.
No worries about straps. I rarely use them and have always said that they're the "poon" thing to do. I can deadlift 500 X 5 and hold on to 500 for 30 seconds, so I think by all accounts, my arm, arm, arm, arm are strong.:o

1)Bucket Of Sand: Get a bucket of playground sand. Fill the bucket with the sand. Then, you want to put your hand down far into the sand where you still have hand movement. Start moving your hand all over and tightening and loosening your fingers, grabbing the sand while you curl your wrist in, etccc for a few minutes is excellent.
2)Heavy farmers walk.
3)Thick Bar static hold

The trick with hypertrophy and forearms is hitting them in almost all the methods they need to move, plus genetics.
A hammer curl or reverse curl
A wrist curl
A reverse wrist curl (same day as wrist curl)
and a twisting exercise with a sledge hammer or using a rope on a pully
a squeesing exercise sand bucket
Hitting one exercise a day so 4 days a week you will be training forearms.
Rep range is low because alot of the size for forearms is connective tissue. 3-5 rep range for the curl movement 3 sets. The wrist curls u want higher rep ranges to cause hypertrophy in the forearm of capilary density 15-20 rep ranges 2 sets. the squeesing exercise is for time 1-2 minutes 2 sets. twisting movements you want in the higher range 2 sets 15-20. This way you will cause hypertrophy in all the ranges.
Then do an extreme stretch get the dumbell like in a wrist curl and it roll to the finger tips and let it stretch for a minutes and 30 seconds.
If this dosnt do some growth in a month let me know and ill think of something else but it should.

Thanks Wolf! So what size forearms are you sportin' there Wolf? Some 15''s? That would be huge for a forearm.

they are currently about 15 1/4.
they were 16 when I was competing in strongman and powerlifting and 275lbs. Now Im about 230lbs. I dont really train much forearms much anymore now though. My wrists are so dammaged from steel bending it isnt even funny. I can feel the bone move when I do wrist curls.

I should mention I have genetics for forearms. My fathers are disgusting about my size and he never does any direct work for them at all. Heck he barely trains anymore. Mine responded to training very well though and grew fast.
