after reading some suggestions for low carb milk i got some. dont know what you guys pay but it was 3.39 for a half gallon. gallon of regular milk was 2 $. i have to say im not a big fan of milk and like the way the low carb milk tastes better, seems to have less of a taste than regular milk
while i was in the grocery store i saw soy milk, i think it was fat free no sugar added or low sugar, cant remember, but it had 60 cals per serving. any thoughts on this stuff? im guessing to just stick with regular milk because soy protein is not the best right?

I dont really buy into the soy protein argument. I think its fine to supplement with soy, and i drink soy milk from time to time. It actually doesnt taste bad. You can get it in strawberry, chocolate or mocha flavors and I enjoy them.

I would say save soy for someone else or at least don't go ingesting buckets of it.
Actually let me dig up the REAL research not the promotionary crap that companies throw at you that show it to be pro-carcinogenic - forget the decreases testosterone idea, but the research is there. I'll get back to you on this one.
back to Lavern + Shirley status I suppose Wedg.

if i did get the soy milk the only time i would be using it would be before bed mixed with my micellar protein, but will probably end up not getting it, or getting it once and see how it goes

Hehe
I didn't mean to throw the scare out there or maybe
I am in one of those moods today...only 4 hrs of sleep last night and pretty grumpy.
A glass here and there is likely not gonna kill ya any faster than any other product out there. Myself not using it is personal choice after reading the studies though - some epidemiologic which are actually scarier than the in vitros b/c what happens in a dish doesn't normally pan out in real life.
When's the last time you seen an Asian (particularly areas of high soy consumption) bodybuilding show? Note: this is not a racial slur simply reflected in epidemiologic studies.

haha, you just have areola envy
I've read just as many studies lately saying that soy is not a cause for alarm by any means.
Like you said, I dont go chugging gallons a day. If you get a carton and it lasts you a week I dont think you have anything to worry about.

has anyone hear blended their protein with the low carb milk. i tried it once and it turned into a really strange consistency. kinda frothy/foamy, and all the blended ice sunk to the bottom instead of being incorporated with the protein
if you can imagine oil and vinegar thats what kinda happened to my ice and the froth that formed
hopefully it was just a one time thing, but wondering if anyone else has experienced this

i drink milk with cereal and to make a mocha drink. non fat. but this milk has 12 grams of sugar. i was looking at 2% low carb milk today. ya more expensive for sure but there was only like 3 grams of carbs but it had 4 grams of fat. which is better... btw i didnt find any non fat low carb milk only 2%

I would question who funded those studies.

Common report if you go from none --> some.
ice cream or creams in general usually earn the same report from the same patients though.
