I am not fond of the new Ergo Pharm ads.
I get the self-promotion I do - but the our company is the best and other companies all stink because they don't put the science into their products and do NOT have the multi-$$$ square foot facility we do to prove it.
Poor choice of marketing IMO.
Kind of like how they used to show off the old Muscle Media/EAS headquarters. Who cares?

I was flipping through a FLEX magazine at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in my area and low and behold. I am happy that Myochem + SNS have opted out of downing other companies in lieu of just promoting their own stuff - good choice with potential longer-term customers than the other companies have shown in their example.

Patrick Arnold is the chemist and I believe owns a piece of ergopharm. Altough this is just one of his many adventures. He is actually a really intelligent man with some awesome ideas. Im sure he has nothing to do with the advertising.

What company do you own?
ANd in regards to Patrick & the advertising - any company owner who has 5 page advertorials with more pics of his face than his products, definitely has something to do with the advertising....it is called an ego.

I am not saying btw that I do not think they do not make quality products. I am saying that I don't like the advertising move as I just received a pretty upset individual's email.
I have mentioned in other posts that I currently am using GF Pro although I have not received my Green Apple from DA thus far which distresses me b/c there may be a break in its use. Fortunately, tomorrow is an off day which allows for an extra day to ship.

Just a general statement:
No one will ever hear me put down a competitor no matter what I think of them, and I think it is ashame when other companies feel the need to do it, especially companies that are so well known of already.
An observation:
Backing a product with science is a great thing, but that does not mean that there are not tremendous ideas by companies that do not have the capital to fund clinical studies and so forth. Many methyl products are proof of that.

Patrick is a smart guy but there are alot of other great companies out there that produce top quality products. IMO choose several brands that you feel are reputable that carry the products that can meet your goals and if you have a question about their products you can pick up the phone and talk to a rep that knows what he is talking about. One thing I will give Patrick is he doesnt hold punches he definitly speaks his mind which can be good and bad depending on the situation. My 2 cents...

I think it's boring for an indidivual to purchase 1 company's products. I Know I wouldn't be where im at today (which ain't much lol) if I stuck with strictly the company I work for. Thats a fact! To many company's in this industry have pissing contest's rather than surviving with each other. I realise that it is business but whenever my morals are on the line...That is where business tactics get thrown out the window!
PS. Cant mention my company (yet) on this site. But I definitly do not own it lol.

if you look on some of the other boards the only problem that i have with patrick is that he has no problem trashing another company which helps no one but put every one on the defensive. To his credit tho if you ask him any questions he will get back to you very quickly and usually with good info

aflex - some of us are aware of your company if we recall your pulled post, but I guess you probably have to wait til your products are offered here. I thought they were a bit pricy though btw.
As far as sampling from many companies, I am not certain anyone here submits to one company whole-heartedly anyway.
Max - good guy...uhhhh, I will hold back comment. Smart guy...yeah, I'd agree there! It ain't the science stuff I am making that comment about either.
