last week i ordered some of controlled labs's white blood and green bulge. i was planning on waiting till the end of my cycle to compair my results with the testers of these two products, but max had mentioined that it would be a good idea to post my log so people could see how the two work when stacked together.......so here it is
Goals
I am looking to get stronger and gain more muscle mass. i am looking to gain anywhere from 15 to 20 pounds of muscle by around the end of april/beging of may. i think those are resonable numbers to reach, and of course anything more would be an added bonus.
Supplements

***im considering throwing in some desinger supplements glucophase xr when i start my bulk***
Diet
rite now im on a high protein, medium carb, low fat diet. 50 35 15 and roughly 2800 calories. in two weeks i will rework my diet into 40 40 20 and roughly 3500 calories.
Routine
the powerlifting routine im on now looks like this:
mon: back
tue: off
wed: chest
thur: legs
fri/sat/sun: off
when i start my bulking, im leaning towards this routine:
mon: chest
tue: back
wed: shoulders
thur: legs
fri: arms
sat/sun: off
***abs will be thrown in twice a week, most likely tuesday and thursday
that is what im leaning towards rite now, its not set in stone so any thoughts or suggestions would be apreciated.
ok, im getting kinda tired of typing rite now, so later on tonight i will post my stats, measurements, supplement history, and anything else i failed to mention thus far. plus ill throw in some "before" pictures.
one last thing. this is my first online log im keeping so im kinda new at this. if you feel im leaving anything out or i should change something, please let me know. im excited about doing this log and am looking foward to the expercence.

If your looking to add mass, id definitely bump those 2800 calories up to atleast 3500-4000, of course depending on how much you want to gain and your weight

i will be taking 5 caps of green bulge and 3 caps of white blood aprox. 30-45min before working out.
extra info
as far as cardio goes, i will not be doin any reall cardio...ex: running, stationary bike, ect...however i am an ice hockey player. and after playing A-AA travel for the last 8 years of my life, i decided to take a year off from competive hockey, and plan to play on a junior B team next year. i do play in a men's league and occasionally practise with my former travel team, to keep my skills up. im on the ice 2-3 times a week; when playing travel it was 5-6 days a week, usually 2 times a day.

thats the plan 3500 calories, but i wana finish out these last two weeks then start my diet fresh. ill have some questions about that when it comes closer to it.

thanks max i really aprciate it a lot...
took my first serving this morning...nothing really to log. i did feal a rush of energy about 20 mins after taking, but that might have just been me finally waking up. tomorow will be my first day lifting with these supps. i will be doing chest, and im really looking forward to it.

thanks for all the support so far guys.....
i bought myself a new scale yesterday, and when i stepped on it this morning it said 156. now i know what your all thinking, "WOW 5 pounds in one day...and he didnt even lift yet, this stuff must be amazing"....lol come on now we all know that the only supps. that can do something like that are muscletech's cell-tech and nitro-tech.....it's probobly that my old scale was just a piece, thats all

i was kinda pressed for time today, i got out of school late and i had to be in work at 2:45, so i decided to just do my squats today. i wasn't to thrilled about it, but i figured atleast i got my main set of lifts in. hopefully next time i'll have some more time on my hands.
other than that i'm fealing pretty good. stepped on my scale this morning and it said 156.5...so i gained a half a pound...its a good start. im looking forward to monday, back day, because i love dead lifts

woke up today and my legs were feeling pretty nice, even tho i didn't get to do half of my workout yesterday. so far ive been getting some nice pumps. i imagine that the supps. should start to really kick in sometime next week or so. i am looking forward to it

i had a really good work out today. strength felt good and the pumps were amazing. my veins were poping out like crazy too, theve never been that visable before. i got that reall good, deep down soreness in my back and i must admit....i love it. i really enjoy back day!

good work out today. pumps were good. this was the last chest day of my powerlifting routine. tuesday i am going to max out again and see how much i have improved in that. should be good considering that my previous max was 200 and now im doing 210 for 3 reps.

felt really good today. weights were nice. again pumps were real nice and my veins are popping out like crazy. i could have gone heavier on all lifts today, but i held back a little bit because i have a game tonight. i dont need my legs to fall off while im on the ice. especially when someone whos got a good 100+ pounds on me is haulling ass trying to crush me. should be fun....

im almost done the second week of this stack. so far ive noticed some really nice pumps and the weights are going up nicely. with the exception of tommorows back workout, ive finished my powerlifting routine. tomorow will be my final workout for that routine. my strength has increased nicely through out the routine. i will be maxing out on my bench on tues to see how much it has increased. my squats and deads have gone up dramaticly, roughly 60lbs on my squat and 70 lbs on my deads. if anyone has any questions about the routine i was following, feal free to ask or email me......
tomorow i begin my bulking. i will be taking roughly 3500 calories a day. im going to use a 40/40/20 diet, aprox. 350g protein, 350g carbs, and 77g fat. hopefully i will see some nice gains coming from these numbers. now im not an expert when it comes to diet, so im sure that im gona have a few questions along the way.

i decided to skip my last powerlifting workout and go straight to the muscle building. im still tweeking the routine a little bit....i think i did the straight arm pulldowns way too early, and will probobly alternate bent barbell rows with reverse grip barbell rows week by week. i did deads last just to switch things up a little. i was trying to hit my entire back today....upper lats, lower lats, mid back, lower back, ect. but i think it would be best to alternate parts here as well. work upper lats and mid back one week and lower lats and lower back the next, for example.
other than that, it was the usual good workout. real nice pumps today. felt good to change it up, and im looking forward to the upcoming months.
on a side note: i never realised how hard it was to eat so much..lol. does anyone have any tips on how i can get those extra carbs, calories and protein with out all of the sugar and fat found in most of the foods/snacks that are in my closet.....thanks in advance

When bulking (to gain lean muscle mass), I aim for:
- 1lb lean beef per day
- 1 Gallon Skim Milk per day
- Around 2000 cals per day from oats
- Lots of protein shakes (up to 8 per day)
- Lean chicken
- Lean turkey
- Lean beef / sloppy Joes (manwich)
- Hamburger Helper
- Lots of pasta
- Lots of tuna
- Potatoes
- Rice (Note: If you can afford it you can do things like boneless chicken breast, steaks etc.. etc..)
- Veggies (Fresh if possible)
When cutting (to lose fat):
- I eat many of the same foods above, but with a lower TOTAL DAILY CALORIE INTAKE
- I put a emphasis on PRE- and POST-workout nutrition, and the end result is that most of my calories are eaten before my afternoon workout. I have found this to be ideal (for me).

sorry i havent posted my workouts the last few days.....i gota new job and i havent had anytime. my last few workouts werent my best, im not proud of this. plus my diet has been kinda screwed up this week due the the new schedual and the lack of time to get it together.

thats it...like i said, im not very proud of my last few workouts but atleast its better then nothing. let me give some insight as to why my workout/diet was bad here. i woke up and 7:30 for school, had school from 9 till noon. work from noon till 6. got home at 6:30. lifted at 7:15 finished up around 7:45(i know long time for a short workout but i was tryin to do some homework between sets) 8 i was out the door heading to a hockey game. 10:30 game time. got home at around 1:30 and crashed. i didnt want to really tire myself out for my game either.
.....but no excuses, i have to get my act together and straighten it out....im sure theres people on this forum who have it rougher then me and manage to get it done

Hey did you notice and stomach discomfort with the green buldge? I have been having alot of gas in the stomach. The only thing that I have changed, is the Green Buldge. Just wondering if anyone noticed that, or is it from something else

actually max, i did notice a little bit of excess gas like 10-15mins after concuming the green bulge. i noticed i was belching(for lack of a beter term lol) quite a bit.....and it was not a pleasent taste.....kinda like that capsules. but it didnt really bother my too much. when this occured, i just drank another bottle of water and it seemed to stop.i think the gas comes from the capsules being dissolved and broked down in the stomach, but im not 100% sure. next time you notice this, try drinking some more water it works for me
p.s. i also noticed that it seemed to occur more when i took it within 30mins to an hour of eating.

i tried to do some squats at the begging of my workout, but my back wasnt havning any of that today. today was my last day of green bulge and white blood. i was very impressed with it. i will rite my final review and post my new measurements later on tonight.....cant wait to see the tape, should be good.

final review
price: 9/10...green bulge and white blood are extremely afordable. bang for your buck, this stack is probobly one of the best out there IMO.
impact on workout: 10/10...this stack gives you some amazing pumps. as far as strength goes, well just look at the numbers. in the beging of my log i was benching 185-6 and 205-x3. my last chest workout i was doing 205-x6, for three sets. thats a pretty big jump in a short amount of time.
side effects: i didnt notice any light headedness that some of the other members have reported. however, i did notice a little bit of gas aprox. 10-15mins following taking the supps. again it was nothing major tho, i just drank some more water and it seemed to go away.
final thoughts: this is def. a great stack. the pumps are amazing and my strength really went up. i highly recomend this stack to anyone. its afordabilty and positive effects make it a great addition to add to anyone/everyones current program.
