Fast food? On and/or off cycle. Just curious. I wont touch McDonalds or anything like that anymore but I love subway... Maybe once every two weeks I will get a footlong... On or off cycle.

I don't count subs as fast food... every once in a while i'll splurge but I normally pack a lunch or go to a restaurant.

i get subway once or twice a week inbetween classes but i in no way consider it fast food. I always get a turkey on wheat w/ no cheese and loaded w/ veggies... so unless ur getting the "feast" every week i dno why u consider it fast food.

One sub I get on occasion is the quiznos italian on wheat. Add that dressing and you're looking at 1000+ calories w/60+ grams fat lol :D

I like the honey and oat bread toasted

ok as far as eating goes it depends on your cycle is it a recomp is it a bulk ? please be more pacific ;)

Fast food? Never. I stopped eating all fast food about 6 or 7 years ago, but lifting/health had nothing to do with it.

I just think the food sucks.

Subway? Sure, on occasion when I'm traveling and in a pinch.

Why do people think Subway is healthy? White bread is white bread (and so is their wheat), their meats are processed, full fat cheeses, sugar in all the dressings and sauces, etc...

who said anything about white bread? i ate it everyday and was a very lean eating a chicken breast on wheat or mixed with a spinach salad is fine u dont have to add any dressing

since i started my 10 week elite cycle.i am eating like a damn horse.im hungry 24-7 and yes i would stay away from subway.i know some one who use to work at one and you do not want to know:eek:

I like a 6 inch oven roasted chicken breast, double meat from Subway... That with american cheese, lettuce, tomatoe, onions, and banana peppers... Add some mayo and vinegar... MMMmmm

once in a blue ill eat some in and out or something.i dont care much for fast food anymore it hurts my stomach and makes me feel sluggish and lazy afterwards

Eat Lots protein, Lots carbs, sufficient fat...As much as you can cram in.
If your Chest gets bigger it makes your waist look smaller.
Abs are overrated...-MVP

Amen thats def not fast food. I get subs and custom made wraps when i need to like someone said in a pinch.

i get subway once or twice a week inbetween classes but i in no way consider it fast food. I always get a turkey on wheat w/ no cheese and loaded w/ veggies... so unless ur getting the "feast" every week i dno why u consider it fast food.

Their wheat bread IS white bread. It's white bread with a small amount of wheat flour (NOT whole wheat) thrown in for taste. Unless something is advertised as 100% whole wheat it's just white flour with processed wheat flour a distant second.

I can't remember off the top of my head but I believe they use processed chicken. American cheese is always garbage, as is mayo.

Just like any other cheat food there's nothing wrong with having Subway once in a while. It's just not as healthy as their marketing tries to make you believe.

Port of Subs and Cousins beats Subway by a long shot. Their meats are cut fresh daily and bread is alot better than subways too. Tastes better and is healthier all around.

To the OP. If i'm trying to gain and need to get in my cals, I'll through a burger in my diet here and there. It all depends on what your goals are and how your body reacts to it. I have a pretty fast metabolism and need to indulge here and there in order to get down all the cals everyday. The PH usually helps with nutrient partitioning and if I notice I'm getting too bloated or abs are going away, I clean it up.

Cutting on the other hand is nothing but clean, clean, clean...

There are plenty of ways to get in quick, healthy calories. Oats, milk, peanut butter, and protein powder in a blender is a good way.

A chicken breast sandwich takes < 10 minutes to make. Less time than it takes for most people to drive to Subway, wait in line, and drive back.

I saw a guy the other day. I think it was in the pilates class. He looked 18 and maybe went 165. IMPRESSIVE abs.
Then I went and did 4X8 cleans with 230lbs.-MVP

i used to work there:D wasnt that bad actually the only thing we did was smoke weed in the walkin
