I am 24, 6 foot and 259 right now. I started working out 5 days a week 2 weeks ago.
I need a straight forward diet, with my work I am always on the road so it needs to be something I can grab out of a cooler or something easy

Just keep things natural man. The best way to stay healthy is to eat foods whole and natural. The closer they are to coming directly from the source, the better for you. So yes, it's true what i'm trying to say...if you want a burger...I suggest you kill your own cow.

well whatever your goal is, a good starting point is to just add more proteins and eat healthy foods. stay away from fast food, high fats, high carbs, things like that. like bnat said, whole wheat sammiches with lean cuts of meat are a great on the go meal. also protein shakes and bars are easy. muscle delight is Axis's new shake thats great for a meal replacement. it always lasts me over to the next meal

Well if you're constantly on the go, being prepared ahead of time is definately the key. Otherwise you run the risk of falling into the fast food trap due to the convenience. I am relatively busy as well. What I do is prepare all my meals for the day the night before. For example, I get all my grilled chicken defrosted, cut up and marinated the night before so its really easy for me to come back from work/classes to make my meals. I also tend to take a small lunchbox (I sometimes feel like im still in preschool) with me with a turkey sandwich or my protein bars or w/e in it so that way I avoid eating anything else because its immediately available. You didn't specify what your overall goal was so I couldn't tell you exactly what you should eat.
