My brother is currently in IRAQ, and he told me the other day he lost 11 pounds since he has been in there, he said he hardly has anytime to eat, and I sent him some Weight gainer protein, and a shaker cup today. Im trying to find him a good stack, that way he can get his weight back, and then some! Any other product you recommend, he said he was going to try to hit the gym 3 times a week when he finds time. He comes home in March for 2 weeks, he said he wants to have his weight back up by then. Let me know what you think.

I've been on both sides of the fence on this one.....There were times when I was deployed that I had absolutely no time to eat, b/c of high optempo and then there other times where I could easily eat 4 meals a day and train consistantly. Go ahead and send him some protein powder and a shaker to supplement missed meals. What they charge for supplements at the PX is highway robbery and I think he'd appreciate the gesture.

When I was downrange the DFAC was pretty damn good but I ordered protein bars and protein powder from DA and got it fairly quickly. within 2 weeks. I also took M1T about 3 different times and gained right at 40 lbs in a year. So there are ways for your brother to keep his weight up. I know M1T is no longer with us but there are some pretty good PH's out there to put on some weight.

im in the same exact situation as your brother. Problem is... im small to start with and doing 8 - 10 hour patrols, an hour of weapons maintnence, 30 min of body maintence and proper sleep to stay alert on patrols food and the gym are hard to come by. I usually eat an MRE.. fatty yes but if you work it off... by foot patrols and runnning errends (actually running them) and wearing full kit all the time the fat will be no problem.
My Dad also sent me powerbars and i take truemass to keep me full all the time.
When i do get time to go to the chow hall i grab 1-3 to-go plates so i can scarf it down inbetween the gym and when i wake up. its a HUGE time saver.
I currentally ordered some CEL M-Drol and some Trenadrol. I cant wait till they get here. To gain weight he might want to do a H-Drol / P-Plez cycle. thats good for mass as far as i hear.. im just a huge fan of Superdrol (M-Drol) so im a repeat costomer.
But DEFF tell your bro about the to go plates, this way he will only have to find time to get to the chow hall once a day. It saved me.
Wish him luck and enjoy the time you will have togeather this month!
