I love the last section that states you can add 150 pounds to your bench in 3 months. Not only did his diet include meat and eggs it had to include a steady diet of every possible test and PH available ever. It's taken me all year to add about 60-70lbs to my bench this whole year. I guess I should try the Pat Casey Program. Sign Me Up.

He is a legend and for good reasons. He was the first to officially accomplish many feats. Look at the bench they where benching on before-I cannot even believe it could support that weight-lol! Crazy! Casey was a true pioneer at the time and he was definitely gifted regardless of other factors.

As a side note-not to discredit Casey as he is worthy of much credit but many will credit Paul Anderson with the 600 bench before Casey. Many of Andersons feats have yet to be duplicated but they where never done "officially". Most argue he is still the strongest man to ever live.

That bench looks like the one I had when I was about 12 years old and I only had a hundred lbs. of weight there's no way I could have balanced 600 on that thing thats impressive in itself.

When was that article written?

600 pounds on that thing is crazy...

And that part about adding 150+ (he suggests even more for beginners) in 3 months is just total bullshit.

I could believe it with some of the programs that the old timers wrote. Then again they were alot more mental with there lifting then we were so I think it would have been easier for them than us. Look at guys like The Mighty Atom for an example of that.
