Is there a reason for such a high creatine content?

I never thought of 5g of Creatine Mono as such a "high content."

But that's just me, we all have different opinions.

Most people already use a creatine product. So any given day they could end up taking in 10+ grams a day of creatine. Is there a reason why 5 grams of creatine mono was decided to be the amount in this product? Some people also report that 5 grams of CrM tends to give stomach discomfort if taken all at one time. Any thoughts on that?

Edit - BTW, what is up with the label issue? One label lists creatine mono before maltodextrin, even though the product contains more maltodextrin than creatine. Another label doesn't even list maltodextrin at all. Are these the final labels?

I am unsure about the label. I will try to find out that information.
If this product is taken postworkout, I wouldn't take a creatine with it. Would be no different than taking your preworkout creatine, and then taking this postworkout and getting your post workout creatine. That is no different than taking CVM twice a day. (Also would equal 10g of creatine)

I appreciate your interest in both of the Axis Labs products as you have had many questions and opinions about both, not just on this board.

I will try to get answers to some of those label issues for you as soon as I can. Pretty hard on a Saturday.

I see now it does seem to be all CM... that excludes me from using this :(

I get the fierce poopsiewoopsies at only 2 grams of CM. I love CM... just can't take it :(

Sounds good to me. I was just unsure as to why a protein powder contains 5 grams of creatine. Even if someone takes a pre workout product (probably contains creatine) and say two servings of this Muscle Delight product....don't you think that is way too much creatine for one day? I'll just throw it out there and say that the general population that posts on DA are probably fully saturated as is.

I see your point. But Muscle Delight only contains 15 servings, I would only take it postworkout probably. But that is just me. I don't believe the product was made to take more than once a day.

2 servings a day would make the tub last 1 week. 1 serving postworkout would last almost a month. (Depending how often you workout.)

I am only using the postworkout aspect of it because that's exactly how I would take the product. What anyone else does with it, is completely up to them.

all makes sense to me. it looks good just depends on how much it cost for me. If I were to buy it though i would just take 10 g of creatine(5g caps) b4 and 10g after( 5 g from the drink and i'd just pop one more cap). 10 before an 10 after doesn't seem like i problem to me.

How much fat per 1 scoop? Yeah that's alot of creatine in a protein mix. Kinda takes away from using a solid creatine product that gives more benefits of the creatine and not knowing how much or what kind in the protein mix. If someone can follow what i'm saying.....

But looks like a good product though

I would think whoever bought this product would not use additional creatine. Call me crazy.

Your right, but what if Creatine Monohydrate isn't the creatine of choice for someone? But the bottom line is, if you like CM then you'll buy the protein powder and use it as your main creatine source.

This is just like any other product...

If you do not want the 5g of creatine mono, then chances are you won't buy the product. Just like any other product on the market, if there is something in it you don't want, you won't buy it. It all comes down to your needs and wants.

You can't please everybody with one product.

Any word back on why 5 grams of creatine was added? I'm not mad at the fact that you guy have creatine in the formula, but I do find it odd that 5 grams was the final number selected.

I don't find 5g to be odd at all. Nothing wrong with peeing out the excess CM. :D

1, 2, 6, and 8 were considered to be unsavory characters by the formulators. Axis Labs does not promote cooperation with suspected terrorists like the ones who are friendly with the number 8. That's why the letters J, A and S were dropped from the product name as well.

this is obviously going to be in direct competition with muscle milk. Not including it would be just another reason for some people to buy Musclemilk instead.

Those are my thoughts.:D

Muscle Milk doesn't contain creatine, IIRC.

Edit - There seems to be a few different labels that I have read. Some still show glycocyamine, some show creatine, and others don't show any of that at all. The one in the DA store shows creatine listed.

5g of CM is a common dose, most take 3-5gs 2x/day so where is the issue? creatine is hard for your body to absorb so you generally excrete it with most doses and products.
