DA forum members going to Olympia '05?

Oh yeah!! Gpt my Olympia tickets package today, great seats, and looking forward to a break for 4 days when I can just soak all the vibes in in Las Vegas. Any of the D.A forum mebers going at all... Will DA be doing a stand of any sort? Just wondering. This is a great community, and could be good to say Hi to some familiar members...

I want to see whether big Ronnie will tie Lee Haney (all time fav. BB) Pity part of my hard earned cash has to go to Greedy Weider, but oh well, he did really break BB to the masses, so I respect him for that... Cheers

7 weeks till the Mr O!!

I will be staying in the Orleans Hotel and Casino in the thick of it all, with mass monsters everywhere..lol. Thought I would ask all the regulars and DA forum members. I will be taking the laptop to the MR O, and will have internet access while there. After the MR O finals, would anyone like an immediate post of who won?? I would be happy to post if anyone wants to know asap.

I plan on taking the camera to to the expo etc, I think I may set up a page and upload a bunch of pics of the weekend. Would anyone be interested in seeing some of the action there? I realise that another popular forum will do all that type thing as well, but if there are some keen folks out there, I would be happy to post this stuff during the weekend?

I think that would be awesome for you to post right from there. I plan on doing something like that at the Arnold this coming year. If it all works out should be really cool.

Yeah, a cemetary, so old school Russian..lol Reminds me of Rocky 4, except the Russian is the guy who is just doing it basic...but holy cow, he is a monster, I wonder if he would grow even more if he had all the latest nutrition and endorsements like some of the U.S boys? I hope he does well myself, at the O that is. From his interview, he sounds like a down to earth guy, and I totally dig his attitude towards competition.

I think its crazy how he quite working out for like two years and he still is able to make the O at age 27(i think). That little fact kinda inspires me that there is hope for anyone(like me) to make it.

I week till I am in Sunny Vegas baby!!

Really looking forward to this event.... I first saw the Olympia on video in 1988, and have always wanted to go.... But lived downunder, so made it kinda difficult... now that I relocated to the U.S.A, it makes things a LOT easier...so I am on my way...17 years after I first saw the 'O'

I should be posting pics from the expo and Orleans hotel still, and will do a post straight away after the event, to let all know what went down.... I may as well do some brief commentary and give the dirt on any interesting going's on while there as well :)

Well, It's 12:38 in the evening, and I will be hopping on a plane early in the morning to fly out to Las Vegas for the Royal Rumble of Biceps, the Mr O.. I am pumped about this.....

This is the first Bodybuilding contest I will be going to see. I have wantedto go to them before, but always lived way too far away to do so. It was only 3 months ago I said to my wife about a long held desire to check it out. Awesome babe that she is said lets do it, and make sure you get good seats!!

I will be posting from the O, so check out a new forum thread :)

The big announcement? Yeah, I wondered about that too. All that came to mind was the GAKIC reelease, but thet was announced pre Olympia. That really seemed to be the only big thing at the show.....
