October 14th, 2007, 10:37 PM
This will be my first log ever. I have been reading this forum for quite some time and have learned a lot. There are many I have learned from on this site so I want to give my thanks to them. After much research I have decided to do this stack starting Monday, Oct 15th.
Plan during cycle:
Weeks 1-8: 800 mg Bold/day 400mg-Breakfast 400mg-with dinner
Weeks 1-4: 50 mg H-drol/day 25 mg 25mg
Weeks 5-8: Testaboln or Hypertest
Weeks 1-8: Perfect Cycle
Weeks 1-8: Incarnate
PCT:
Weeks 9-12:
SNS PCT stack
Hypertest
NO explode
Reset AD (Have some left over from my Levi/Incar stack)
Supporting Supplements duing both phases
ZMA
Hawthorn Berry (I started this a week ago)
Saw Palmetto
CoQ10 (150mg)
Niacin
Flax oil
Glos/MSM
Glutamine (15 mg)
Multi-V
Diet:
Clean as possible. (2800-3000 calories)
I am naturally lean, and most of the foods I like are good for me.
I don't care for sweets or fried foods, so it is pretty easy for me to stay reasonably clean. I will make sure I drink plenty of water.
Workout:
I will be doing Bill Starr's 5x5 program during cycle. During PCT I will continue a modified 5x5 type program but be in the 8 rep range. I have taken the last week off from lifting so I should be fresh.
Stats:
37 yrs
160 lbs (weighed in on Sunday morning Oct 14)
9-10% bf
I have been lifting serious for last 2 1/2 yrs
Goals:
My ultimate goal is to get to 175-180lbs at 8-10% bf. Before summer I was up to 168 at about 15%. (I loved the Levith/Incarnate stack). When I started this endeavor back in March of 2005 I weighed 145 lbs.
If you have any advice on something I should be doing or am not doing please feel free to let me know. Thanks to all Bobby

Looks good...
Not sure about the incarnate oncycle... others will have to chime in.
I would up your cals by at least 500!

Im using the Incarnate for joint support. I forgot to mention I have taurine on hand in case of back pumps, and I didn't put down whey and carb powder I will be using in my support supps.

For PCT, pick either Blue-up OR Hypertest, both are not needed. Other than that, it looks pretty good.

I will do that. I guess I misread your reply on my other thread. I will research them both and see which one I like better. Any suggestions, blue up, hypertest, testaboln? Which ever one I pick I will be using in week 5-8 on cycle, and then in PCT.

I'm not sure that one is better than another, it comes down to user preference. Personally I'm gonna use hypertest, but a lot of other people use blue-up as well.

Good to see another 37 year old in the house!
I'm just finishing my BOLD/Testabolan stack and absolutley loved it. I will also be running BOLD/H-Drol sometime in December.
Good luck - I'll be sure to follow along...

I like Blue Up simply because it's cheap. But I must say when I ran bold it shut down my libido BIG TIME and the addition of testabolan really helped out. So both are good products if you ask me.

I am glad to be here. I have been following your log, and decided to go with a test booster in weeks 5-8 because of what I read in your log. Good luck in the weeks to come. BTW my D-Backs are about to be swept by the Rockies so I know how you feel.

Yep, you're DBacks put the smack down on the Cubs; it was downright embarrasing...
I don't think I;ve ever seen a hotter team than the Rockies. 20-1 over the last 21 games? Ridiculous!
Sorry for getting off topic... I'm subscribed.

Work out went well this morning. Felt fresh after taking a week off.
Workout program 5x5
Bench press: 140x5 155x5 170x5 180x5 195x5 (PB is 215x5)
BB rows: 85x5 100x5 110x5 120x5 130x5 (PB is 160x5)
Squat: 145x5 155x5 170x5 185x5 205x5 (PB is 235x5)
Did some shrugs, 2 sets 205x5
I haven't been able to squat heavy for about 6 months due to my right knee. Don't know what I did to it, but it felt great today. Even though squats aren't my best exercise, I am planning on my squat going way up duing this cycle. (Im just not built for squats, but I love them). Looking forward to the deadlifts on Wed. Abs and calves tomorrow with light cardio (10 minutes of incline power walking)
My goals for those lifts by end of cycle are BP (225x5) BR (185x5) Squat (275x5)
Diet was good today. Got down the calories I wanted to, and it was clean. Took first dose with post workout shake. I am not expecting much from the first day, but I felt pumped for at least 3 hrs after my workout. I will be weighing myself every Monday morning and updating that night.
Hope D-backs can win tonight so they don't get swept by Rockies.:(

Glad to hear you got great gains. I have high expectations for this stack. Thanks for the info, I will keep this in mind if I have any problems. How did you like the Hemadrol/Prop cycle you did.

it didnt really do much for me... probibly 4-5 lbs... trenadrol really leaned me out though... but you need to have hawthorn berry in your system befor you go with it.. and the strength gains are all the boards say they are... I was really happy with it.

Well this really sucks. I go to bed on Monday night feeling great, then wake up Tuesday sick as a dog.:x I am going to wait till Im better to start up again. I don't know what I got, my wife and kids have been fine. I have been able to keep my calories, and water intake up(thanks to my awesome wife). I planned this stack for 2 months, so I guess I can wait until I am well. It's wed's night and I don't feel any better so I will just have to rest it out. Hopefully by tomorrow night I will be back to normal. I have also kept taking my support supps CoQ10, hawthorn berry, niacin, saw palmetto, multi, etc...I will log in again after my next workout (hopefully friday)

Alright, got over whatever it was I had. Wanted to wait till I had something to report before I chimed in. I got over being sick on the 20th and started working out again on the 22nd. I lost only 1 pound while I was sick, so I was thankful for that. By Sunday(28th) I had gained 3 pounds, and felt like my strength was back. My muscles feel harder, and I look fuller (According to my wife). I am really looking forward to this week. No sides as of yet, though I have felt tired all of last week, and my appetite hasn't really come back. I think this is just from being sick. I may chime in after my workout later today. BTW How bout those SUN DEVILS. Tough game this coming week at Oregon(They look goooood).

Really lookin forward to this cycle bro, I will be running a similar one in the future, so your results will help
Hope it helps you out. I've learned many things from your posts, so I hope I can return the favor. Monday's workout was very good. Felt very strong and fresh at end of workout, better than usual.
Bench 135x5 145x5 165x5 185x5 205x5
BB rows 95x5 95x5 110x5 125x5 140x5
Squats 135x5 145x5 165x5 185x5 205x5
Did a couple sets of barbell shrugs
My knee is beginning to feel really good again. I think next week I will raise the weight on squats at least 20lbs per set. I still want to be careful, don't want an injury right now. I can still make gains with lighter weight. Deadlifts, Military press, light chest work on Wednesday. Did have some light back pumps(not bad though), so I will raise the dose of taurine I am taking from 1000mg to 1500mg. I have read some people take 2000mg per day, but I will see how 1500 works. I usually only weigh myself on Monday mornings but I am going to see where I am at on Friday.
BobbyASU42
October 30th, 2007, 06:16 PM
I just got done doing some more research to see if I was right on the taurine. I am going to up my dosage to 5grams per day after some of the things I just read.

I took bold / tren and got shutdown around wk 6. I would also recommend Horny Goat weed to supp in there with your test booster. It brought the boys back really quick. And I went from 165 to 174 on my bold cycle and then went on the mass fx, hdfx2 pct and am still gaining .. up to 178 now.
you wont stop at 170lb.. you will get hooked on beign able to lift more than you have been able to .. and love the big look...
good luck
BobbyASU42
October 30th, 2007, 09:28 PM
Thanks for the info. I will follow your advice if I have a problem. I was going to us the Mass fx and hdfx2, but heard the blue up and hypertest were just as good. Money isn't an issue, but I know the hypertest and blue up are cheaper. I will use which ever one is better. Glad to see you are having success, I would love to weigh 178 at 10%bf. As far as strengh goes I know after this cycle I will probably be stronger than I have ever been in the past. By the end of the year I want to bench 300lbs. Thanks again, and I hope you make it to 180 or more.

i forgot to mention that cissus is really good for your joints.. they will ache for sure.. incarnate has it in it as well as beta alanine... really good pre wo. tingles are to get used to ..but you know when it is in your system for sure... I take zma every night before bed.. seems to help as well.. no colds this year....:D :D
good luck. and you will be able to tell if you are low on water.. you will feel crampy in the muscles..

Wednesdays workout felt good.
Deadlifts 135x5 155x5 185x5 205x5 225x5
Military press 70x5 85x5 100x5 110x5 110x5
I also did some supplementary work
light DB incline press 2 sets of 6
light Leg extensions 2 sets of 6
Abs
Calves - high reps on the seated calf machine, low reps standing calf raises 3 sets apiece.
I seem to be recovering faster than normal and I know that is to be expected from the bold/h-drol. I am going to evalute myself after this coming weekend, and see if I need up the volume some. The last time I did the 5x5 program, it seemed like the perfect amount of work for me, and I made good gains from it. But being on the bold/h-drol I want to make sure to get the full potential from this stuff. Like I said before I usually only weigh myself on monday mornings, but I am going to weigh myself on friday. I can definetly see the difference in the mirror:)

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I didn't have a chance on friday to report in on my weight and yesterdays workout. The workout was good, feeling stronger everyday. My weight was up to 163.6 on friday morning. Thats almost 4 pounds in the first 2 weeks. I am not counting the 1 pound from me being sick. I believe the weight is lean mass. Whenever I gain any fat it is always in my mid-section. I measured my mid-section after I weighed myself and it hasn't changed since I started this cycle. I am very encouraged by this. After I weigh myself on Monday morning I am going to have my wife take measurement for me. I took measurements before I started, so I will post both measurements on monday to see what progress I have made in the first 2 weeks.
Friday's workout.
BB rows 95x5 95x5 110x5 125x5 150x3 110x8
Bench 135x5 145x5 165x5 180x5 215x3 165x8
Squats 135x5 155x5 175x5 190x5 225x3 175x8
I will need to raise the weight again on monday.
Supplementary work
2 sets of 8 tricep extensions
2 sets of 8 bicep curls
2 sets of 5 shrugs
Big game for my SUN DEVILS today. Go ASU.

I just gotta add one thing, It took me a while to figure this out, but when using promagnon 25, h-drol, halo 50, or any other halo clone, it is best to do a high rep, 12+ reps, at the end of the dead lift set, bench set, and squat set. You almost had it with doing 8 reps at the end, but go up to 12. Feel it burn and this will pump more blood to the already fatigues muscle. Keep going, and heavy lifting!

The last time I did Bill Starr's 5x5 I had very good gains so I don't want to change much. I will sometimes go up to 10 reps instead of 8. After my sixth week I will change my workout where I do a heavy set (4 reps) followed by a higher rep set (16 reps) # of sets depends on body part. I stick to the heavy compound exercises when I do this. Each body part gets worked twice a week. Thanks for your response.

It's been done before. I think if running it at this dose for this long it should come at the end, so it is followed up with pct right away.

Thanks, to answer your question about testaboln, I haven't decided if I am going to use testaboln or hypertest in weeks 5-8, and then all the way through PCT. I have read good things about both. Money really isn't an issue when it comes to what I pick, but at 75/1000 that is a little costly.

Monday's workout was great. After I was finished I didn't want to stop. Like I said last week, I was going to evaluate my workout and see if I needed to up the volume some. I have had a bad habit of overtraining in the past, and I believe it has slowed my progress. When I discovered 5x5 and HST, I started seeing better gains. I have read that hardgainers can over-train easier (Im not sure if this is true or not). I decided before my workout that I was going to add one higher rep set for my last set. I usually only do this on Friday's workout because I have that extra day off on the weekend. I also added some supplementary work to monday's workout that I usually only do on friday's.
Monday's workout
Pullups: 5x5, 1 set of 10
Bench 135x5 155x5 170x5 195x5 215x5 170x10
Before starting this cycle 215x5 was my personal best, so I am very happy to get that weight this early in the cycle . I felt like I could have done 220-225. I will use 225x3 on friday.
Squats 135x5 165x5 185x5 205x5 235x5 185x10
3 sets of tri-cep extensions 10 reps
3 sets of hammer curls 10 reps
3 sets of shrugs 2x5 1x10
Weight on Monday morning was 164. (4 pounds in first 2 weeks)
After 2 weeks here are the changes in my measurements.
Calves: same
upper thigh: Left leg +1 1/2" Right leg +1"
lower thigh: Left leg +1" Right leg +3/4"
Waist: same
Mid-section: -1/2"
Chest/Back: +1 1/2"
Shoulders: +1"
Biceps: both arms +3/8"
triceps: both arms + 1/4"
forearms: both arms +1/4"
Doing abs and calves on Tuesday.
Deadlifts, Military Press, and light incline db press work on Wed's.
BobbyASU42
November 6th, 2007, 07:19 AM
For bicep I do measure all the way around. For tricep's I flex the muscle, extend my arm straight out, and then measure all the way around. I guess I should have been more specific. I don't know if this is the best way, but it does let me know if I have made progress.
BobbyASU42
November 6th, 2007, 09:40 PM
Did calves and abs today. I usually work calves once or twice per week, but I am going to start doing them 3 times a week. My calves are by far my weakest body part. No matter what I do they don't seem to respond, and I have tried everything. I remember reading an article a long time ago by Dan Duchaine on how genetics played a big part in calf development. In another article Charles Poliquin agreed with his assesment, but gave some advice that did make a little difference. He basically said when doing exercises where the knee is bent you need to do higher reps. The soleus muscle is made up of 88 percent slow-twitch fibers. When doing anything where the knee is straight you need to do lower reps. The gastrocnemius is 60 percent fast-twitch fibers. The only thing I haven't tried is doing calves 3 times per week. I am going to try this and see if this spurs some new growth. To say that I have chicken legs is an understatement. Im not going to quit though, if I could just get one inch during this cycle I would be happy. How much are calf implants???:D

Wednesday's workout
deadlifts 135x5 175x5 190x5 210x5 235x5 190x10
military press 70x5 80x5 95x5 105x5 110x5 85x10

Friday's workout (week 3)
BB rows: 95x5 105x5 115x5 135x5 155x5 115x10 115x5
Bench Press: 145x5 165x5 185x5 205x5 230x4 185x8 135x10
Squats: 150x5 180x5 205x5 220x5 245x5 205x8 150x10
Supplementary work
Tricep ext: 2 sets of 5
dips 2 sets of10
bb curls 2 sets of 5
concentration curls 2 sets of 10
2 sets shrugs 8 reps
2 sets lateral raises 10 reps
My goal before I started this cycle for bench press was 225x5 by the end of it. So at the end of the 3rd week I have already hit my goal:D My new goal is to hit 255x5. I went for a 5th rep with 230 and got 3/4 the way up and just couldn't get it. My wife was spotting me and said she barely had to help me with the 5th rep. The way my strengh is going up I am going to go for 235x5 on monday. I was just suppose to do 3 reps with 230 but after the 3rd rep I felt like I could do 2 more. I am usually beat after a workout like this, but I still felt fresh at the end of it. I am very pleased with this stack so far. I am hoping when I weigh myself on Monday morning I am at 167. I feel my knee is 100% so I am going to up the weight to 265x5 on Monday for squats.

genetics plays a huge part in the growth of muscles, it also plays a role in fiber distribution, we do not all have the same distribution, so sayin that everyone has 60% FT and 88% ST in the calf and soleus is a bit scewed, you need to test it out, and unless you know how to do a muscle biopsy (not advised by yourself, lol) there are ways to get a rough idea as to whether those muscles are mainly FT or mainly ST.
Well my genetics suck when it comes to calves. As far as muscle biopsy goes no thank you. The % I quoted was from the same article. I know my body make-up is more FT than ST though, that is why I seem to respond better to lower rep workouts.
Start of the 4th week
Monday mornings weight was 165.8 (+5.8 lbs)
I don't think I was recovered from friday's workout, I could feel a difference in monday's workout. I didn't have the energy I usually do since I started this cycle, and I didn't feel as strong. So I am surprised that I still got the same weight and reps that I did in last friday's workout, so Im happy about that. I actually added weight to the rows and squats.
Workout (Monday)
Rows 95x5 100x5 120x5 140x5 160x5
Bench 145x5 165x5 185x5 205x5 230x4
Squats 150x5 180x5 205x5 225x5 255x5
2 sets shrugs x5
triceps 160x5(2x) close grip bench press
biceps 95x5(2x) barbell curls

Wednesday's workout
Deadlifts 135x5 175x5 205x5 235x5 265x5
military press 70x5 80x5 95x5 105x5 115x5
did ab and calf work also.
My energy has been down the last couple of days. I don't think I have been sleeping good the last couple of nights. I am still adding weight to the bar, so I know I am still getting stronger. Looking forward to friday's workout, I am going for some new PR's.

Bench 150x5 170x5 190x5 210x5 235x3(PR) 190x8

I hit pr's today even though I didn't feel strong at all. Before my workout I really didn't think I would even come close to the weight I wanted to get today. I don't feel anything like I did in week 2 and 3, but I am still getting stronger. I have a very relaxing weekend planned so hopefully that helps. I start the hypertest next week in lieu of the h-drol. I weighed myself this morning and came in at 166.3. Thats +6.3 lbs after week four. If I can get another 6 lbs from week 5-8, and then maybe a couple more during pct, I will be more than happy with this cycle. Looking forward to the Mich/Ohio St. game tomorrow.

I have read in some posts that adding DHEA will help with energy might give that a try.

Sorry I haven't reported in. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving. I took Monday off and worked out on Tuesday. I felt like I needed the extra days rest. Tuesday workout was good, I did pretty much the same workout as last Friday's. I believe the reason I was feeling the way I was last week was due to a sinus infection. I felt good on Wednesday and Thursday(except for ASU getting spanked by USC, I went to the game) Starting Monday I am going to change my workout up a little bit. I am going to do upper body one day and lower body with deads the next. It will look like this
Mon: upper
Wed: lower
Fri: upper
Mon:lower
Wed:upper
Fri: lower
I will do sets of 10,8,6,10. For the most part I am going to stay with the basic compound movements. Some days I will substitute DB press instead of bench. DB rows in lieu of BB row and pullups. I will vary my foot position on squats a little bit. I will add SL deads and leg extensions to my leg workout, and I will put a little more emphasis on arms and shoulders during the upper body workout. I love the 5x5 program, but I feel it is time for a change. I was finished with the h-drol on Wednesday, so I will start the hypertest today before my workout. Today(Friday) is technically the start of my 5th week.
I do have a question on the hypertest though. I was planning on taking the 4 tabs before bed like it describes on the bottle. It says on workout days to take 2 tabs 1/2 hour before workout. Are the 2 tabs in addition to the 4 tabs(making it 6 tabs on workout days) or are the 2 tabs part of the 4?
I weighed 166.8lbs on Tuesday morning. Thats +6.8 so far. I am very happy with this. I have a smaller frame (my wrists are only 6 1/2 inches around) so 6.8lbs of lean mass makes a big difference on me. I can tell a big difference when I look in the mirror, and that is what counts the most. I have had many comments from friends and family. My waist is still the same as it was when I started this cycle. The 6lbs on me would be like 12lbs to some of the guys on this forum who weigh 220 to 250. I believe had this been my first time doing h-drol I would have had slightly better gains. Hopefully I will stay at this rate during weeks 5-8, and even gain a couple of pounds during PCT. I have had no sides at all except some very minor back pumps (the taurine took care of that). We will see how the 2nd half of this cycle goes.

Friday's workout was the same as last fri and this tues. My weights haven't gone up in the last week and a-half, so I think it is the perfect time for a change like I said in my last post. The question I had on the hypertest was answered in a pm. One of the Axis lab reps instructed me to just take 4 tabs at bedtime on all days and that would be fine.

I had to do Monday's workout on Sunday instead. I need to go out of town this Friday so I bumped my workouts this week up one day. Since I hadn't fully recovered from last friday's workout, I just lightened to load.
bench 135x12 155x10 175x8 195x6 135x12
Pullups 12,10,8,6,12
lateral raises 45x12 55x10 65x8 75x6 45x12
close grip bench 85x12 95x10 105x8 115x6 95x12
BB curls 45x12 55x10 65x8 75x6 55x12
Legs and deadlifts on Tuesday.
Started taking the Hypertest on Sunday night. Don't know what to expect from it, so if anybody can chime in and let me know what to look for or expect. Is 6 more pounds possible with bold/hypertest in next four weeks?

I'm still following man, keep up the good work. Seems like your doing great and getting the gains you want. Slow and steady is the way to go, no need for rapid weight gain. (of course that's what I say then complain about not gaining 15lbs in a cycle too..lol)
Keep pushing man, how long do you have left?

Thanks for the encouragement. I started week 5 last Wednesday, so 3 1/2 weeks to go on cycle and then start my pct. I didn't see the steady growth in week 4 like I had hoped. I think it was the sinus infection, the one I am still fighting a little. I am hoping the hypertest and change of workout will spark some new growth. I will be very happy if I can just break the 170lb mark. I am like you, I want it quick. Being 37 yrs old, I feel like the window of opportunity to but on mass is slowly closing. I can still run a couple more cycles before I hit 40, and hope to hit 180lb some day. Working lower body today so I will chime back in later today or tomorrow some time.

Interesting, we are only one inch and ten pounds apart. I understand your wants as well. I have my eye on 195 for me.
Hope you get 170 before this cycle, actually I hope you get 175 at least.
Keep pushing, us old guys do have problems building, but I think we get the best part of PH's, since we need the most help in the test department.

Had a crazy week last week because I was going to be out of town Fri, Sat. Didn't have a chance to report in on last weeks workouts.
Tuesday (lower)
Deadlifts 175x12 205x10 225x8 245x6 175x12
I have never done deadlifts in the 12 to 10 rep range. It definitly had an impact on my squat numbers.
Squats (narrow stance) 155x12 185x10 205x8 225x6 135x12
Seated calve raises 15,12,10,10,15
It was a good workout. Really felt it the next day.
Thursday(upper)
Got home from work and had only one hour to workout, shower and get dressed before we had to head to the airport(glad I was already packed). I own my own business, so usually I can leave work whenever I want, but me and my partner had to attend a meeting we couldn't afford to miss. Since time was short I just did 4 quick sets for each body part. I didn't go heavy at all, I just focused on stimulating the muscle.
Bench: 4 sets @ 10 reps
pullups: same
Skull crushers: same
BB curls: same
lateral raises: same
It had been a week since I started using the hypertest in lieu of h-drol. I got the most incredible pump. When I looked in the mirror after the workout I looked like I had gained 5 more pounds in my upper body (when I got out of the shower my wife said quote "honey what the heck") I have done plenty of workouts in that rep range and have never got a pump like that, even when I was using a NO product. I would have to say the hypertest had something to do with it. Maybe the bold also works better when doing higher reps. Overall I have always responded better to reps in the 5-8 rep range. The only time I don't have sets of 5-8 reps in my workout is when I do HST or GVT. The first time I ever did HST I put on about 2 pounds in 6 weeks. It was after I had done 6 weeks of 5x5 for the first time and had put on 8-10 pounds. The 2 pounds I put on during the HST was at the end of the 2 weeks of sets of 5. While I was gone this weekend with the family, I didn't get down even close to the calories I wanted over my long weekend. So I was shocked when Monday morning I had gained another pound. I was at 167.8lbs (+7.8 to date):D I need 2.2 pounds to hit the 170 mark. If anybody has any comments or feedback please feel free to chime in.

Sorry I haven't reported in, I have had a ton of stuff going on. The last 2 weeks of workouts have gone good. I have stayed in the 8-12 rep range like I had planned, alternating upper/lower body. I weighed in this morning at 170.2lbs:D +10.2lbs so far with 6 days left to go on cycle. I am going to evalute myself at the end of this week and see what workout I want to do during my PCT. If you have any comments or advice concerning a workout during PCT please feel free to chime in. I was planning on doing HST starting in the 12 rep range or does somebody think something like GVT would be better.
PCT will go as follows
SNS PCT stack (Reduce xt will start 2 weeks out)
Hypertest
Smash or NO Explode before workout (I am leaning towards using the Smash)
Green mag after workout (I have some I need to use up, plus its a good product)
All supporting supps I used during cycle, but do I still need to take liver support during PCT?
As far as PCT goes advice, comments?
I will be taking measurements on monday morning the 24th, and giving a review of the products I was using during cycle. I am hoping to be at 172lbs by then.

Congratulations on your gains. Your liver support should definitely be taken throughout your post cycle therapy to aid in the restoration of homeostasis. The same should hold true for all your supporting supplements.
As for lifting while on your pct....I would back off on the volume just a touch due to the initial elevated levels of cortisol and lowered levels of testosterone. You won't be able to keep the same intensity and still recover optimally from workouts like those that you were doing while on cycle.
I would still continue to push heavy, but I would suggest avoid shock techniques like drop sets, triple drop sets, etc as they will only elevate your cortisol levels even further. Heavy sets of 8-12 that are still demanding on the new muscle tissue is how I would do it....just enough so that your body recognizes that there is still a need to hold onto your new muscle tissue.

Thanks for your input, I will put it to use. I will stick to the workout I am using and just back off from the volume and intensity some (I feel like I could use the extra recovery). I will also order one more bottle of Liver Protectant to get me through my PCT. Thanks Biceps for the response

why the use of flax oil?
It's something I use everyday, I put it in my morning shake. It wasn't something I just took during cycle, I always make sure I get my omega 3's. Im sure if you research enough on this forum you will come across all the info you need concerning omega 3's.

My question was based on:
why the flax on cycle do to its estrogenic effects not due to the omega 3's.......and if you search enough on this site you will see where that is mentioned....;)

Hope everyone had a great Christmas.
I finished my cycle on the 23rd of Dec. I have already started my PCT. I had a problem getting the inhibit E, and will not have it until the 31st. I hope this doesn't affect me to much. I am going to post a question in the PCT forum after I am finished here.
Conclusion on BOLD/H-DOL
I feel this is a great first time stack and highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a whole lot of PH experince. I have done a cycle of h-drol before and believe if this had been my first time doing h-drol I would of had better gains.
I started my cycle Oct 22nd and weighed 160lbs at 10% bf.
At end of cycle on Dec 23rd I weighed 171.6lbs at same. Thats +11.6lbs I'll take that :D
I took measurements before cycle and at the half way point. I can't find the journal I wrote them down in, but when I do I will post the difference with my new measurements. I do know that my mid section and waist stayed the same. My pr in bench went from 215x5 to 235x4 in the first month. The only negative that I can report is that all my dress shirts don't fit anymore. I will be going to the Men's Warehouse for there after Christmas sale this weekend. The only side I had was some minor back pumps but the tarine took care of that. I will continue to report in during PCT, but I wanted to give an update of how the cycle went.

I will do that. So you are saying it is best to hold off on the Flax during cycle. What about during PCT.

Finished my PCT on January 23, and I am still at 171 lbs after PCT. Here are the final measurements after all is said and done
Chest/back + 2"
Arms + 1"
Shoulders + 1 1/2"
Thighs + 2"
Calves + 1/4" (My goal was 1/2 to 1 inch. My calves don't respond to anything, but 1/4 is better than anything else I have gotten in the past)
Waist +0
Mid-section +1/4
I didn't measure my neck before cycle but my dress shirt neck size was 15" and now I have to wear 16".
Again I highly recomment BOLD and H-drol, and I have nothing but great things to say about HYPERTEST, INHIBIT E, and REDUCE during PCT. I am going to continue to use SMASH for another 4 weeks and see how it is by itself. I want to thank everyone who chimed in during this thread, and I appreciate the advice that was given. Here's to 11lbs of lean mass:D and hopefully 5 to 10lbs more before May.
