Get the 13mm.
Use it on your last one/few heavy sets. Try one notch looser when you DL than when you SQ. Makes getting to the bar and getting a good breath easier.

You will notice a big improvement on your SQ form especially if you have not worn them before-great support.

yeah ive used a inzer forever lever (the same kind i am about to purchase) before, but only on heavy deadlifts.
truth be told im just barely now getting into those heavy lifts ( although its true my legs are super small compared to my upper body )
my current lifts are (sets of 5)
bench 305
squat 305
deadlift 405
the only reason im really getting a belt is i have both a buldging disk, and some kind of knot in my lower back that gets swollen when i re-injure it (had over 3 years)
both from working in construction and not weightlifting.

Not sure what to say about the disc? Keep the back as healthy as possible.
Well, those are very good weights you are moving around for reps. I will not bust your balls that your SQ is as high as your bench since they are both good. (but it was tempting-lol!)

ooh dude dont worry my squat is off for 4 main reasons
1. i just entered a gym first time in aug, and didnt do it on a reg basis until dec (06) i didnt even know how to bulk diet until feb(07)
2. i had (no longer feel) knee problems from highschool football, the bitch would pop constantly and hurt whenever i went heavy on legs.
3. i really get "excited" about legs until june.
4. I went 7 plates(perside) on the leg press machine about a month ago for 4 reps, the first 3 were ok, the fourth was a struggle. I actually saw spots after, but my calf has been hurting ever since. Although squats i can handle not leg presses thou
but im really not trying to make excuses, i know their sad, and im focused on them, and my arms, and my abs, and my shoulders, and my.... well we all have flaws.

I wish I could bench as much as I squat... lol If I did, I'd be damn near equal across the board... 405's X 8 for all three exercises would be soooo insane!
