I am going to be taking M-one T and Oxavar from Gaspari and am curious how long to take the stack and if I need to take Novadex.

I didn't stack the two products before, yet have done stacks of Methyl-Dien + Oxavar from Gaspari with phenomenal results.

What are your intentions from a M1T + Oxavar stack?

I have also used M1T but in the classic suggested stacks (i.e.- + 4AD) and with great success. I did NOT use Nova for the stacks, with the exception of PCT. The actual compounds seemed to have no sides outside of the lethargy. Liver enzymes were not even elevated significantly.

methyl stacks should be two to four weeks long. i would never go longer than four weeks.

Is this personal preference Haus?

What I mean...if we get real for a second, sure...it is suggested to use them no longer than 4 weeks, and therefore are you tempting faith going 5 or even 6....? I know some people who have spent up to 6 months believe it or not with liver enzymes remaining absolutely normal. Mind you, I am not advoating it, nor suggesting I "WOULD" personally do it.

But just for curiosity's sake, I am looking for why you are dead set against a magic number like > 4wks? At 4 wks. + 1 day, do you anticipate fulminant hepatitis or is it that your liver will blow up? I don't mean to sound like I am picking on you, but somewhere this mythologic number sticks like the ole you cannot ingest >30 g of protein per meal. Where is it these things come from? Someone who looks like they are in the know suggests it, more people catch on and it sounds like a good thing to recommend, and I believe later on down the line, it gets accepted as fact.

If this sounds like an attack, it is just because I was caught off guard by your first choice of words --- methyls "SHOULD".... you later go on to say I "WOULD" which is better truth, I think.

Personally, for those wondering...I have designed up to 8 wk. stacks with great success and PROPER TAPERING --> I think the caps item is what gets screwed up and often forgotten because of magical numbers PRIOR to PCT!

I would never recommend taking a methyl stack for longer than 4 weeks. I don't even recommend people taking a methyl stack for longer than two weeks. I agree that there is no magic number here, but I always like to err on the side of caution. There are some that do extreme cycles for very long lengths of time, but in general I tend to play it safe when making suggestions to consumers. (Now, what I do myself is a whole different story..LOL)

I would not want that much powerful methylated products in my body for longer than 6 weeks personally. I think 4-6 is safe. From what I remember from biology is that anything hitting the two month mark can become dangerous when its stresses an organ of the body.

I agree wholeheartedly with you both....on different points and certainly can understand your need to "err on the side of caution" when making suggestions to consumers. I too understand your last statement in parenthesis.

While I agree with ya diesel...I am surprised how people pick a magic number say as the following and go with it. The 8 week stretch I suggested includes a taper.

Let's say you opt to stac M-Dien + Oxavar (from whatever brand) and you are going 12 mg/day (which is the modest dosing schedule suggested by supplement manufacturers).

Most can say I am gonna cycle for a set period of time (let's go with 4 weeks for shits and giggles).
Week 1: 3 mg ea. x 3-4 x's per day
Week 2: same
Week 3: same
Week 4: same
Week 5: WHAM!!!! NONE (cause my cycle is over of course)...this reaks absolute havoc on your endocrine system which does NOT play by the same rules as the rest of your body.

let's extend our cycle out though and say
Week 5: 3mg ea. x 2-3 x's per day
Week 6: 3mg ea. x 2-3 x's per day
Week 7: 3mg ea. x 1-2 x's per day
Week 8: 3mg ea. x 1-2 x's per day

then
Week 9: BEGIN PCT

I am willing to bet the extension was worth it on the endocrine system. You would give a chance for the hypothalamus to regenerate GnRH to aid in a more positive PCT response and less side effect should you ever experience any. You could potentially even begin PCT in Week 8 as proposed (like ant-E's or anti-aromatases). The endocrine system plays against the rules so to speak.

I actually wanted to add that you would likely be able to keep many of your gains, if not all, by approaching it this way.

How long should you stay off when you finish a cycle and should you take anything while you are off it.

I think there are plenty of things to take while "off." But I think your first and foremost concern should come in the form of some anti-estrogenic (some of which have been mentioned in other posts: 6-oxo and Aromadex being the two prominent from the supplement class). Personally, this too would be the utmost realistic time for a liver protectant.

I am usually a fan of taking off an equal amount of time that you spent "on." Though I think I could argue if you apply the taper mode I presented a case for approximate initiation of an additional cycle as early as you began the taper.

What I mean is - if you begin a taper at say week 5 of an 8 week cycle...you have to spend a minimum of 4 weeks off, but could realize it to be an ok time to begin another cycle at week 13 of a "continuous cycle." You would look at up to a 2:1 ratio of "on:off" and roughly 8 months out of a 12 month year. This is an extreme view.

If you are one to incorporate testosterone boosters (like of the trib.. + euro... varieties), you probably would stay safe at 6 months on and 6 months off for the most economical and non-inhibitory effect on your endocrine system.

Only one note: be careful, this really puts a strain on the HPA axis ---> ON PAPER AT LEAST. Again, this too is an extremist opinion.

Doesnt sound too bad Din....I understand what you are saying, but by tapering off are you wasting the weeks with minimal gains when you can be off cycle and back on in let's say 4-6 weeks at the full dosage once again?
