I am 19 years old weight 147lbs and am 5"8. I am starting to lift this week and am in the market for a diet. I am not trying to get HUGE or anything just trying to get cut get some abs all that business. I don't eat terribly I enjoy my tuna and my addiction is cottage cheese. I am not a chocolate guy or anything like that. I work 6-5 everyday and am able to snack throughout the day if I so chose so I am very flexible in when, what and how I can eat. Any help is appreciated.

eat 6 times a day. Base all your meals around protein. the best types I use each week are tuna fish, chicken breasts, lean red meat, peanut butter, and protein shakes. Then add whole grains and pastas. Eat vegetables as well b/c they'll help build ur body-spinach is a super food.

every 3-4 hours your body needs a protien so keep that in mind. an easy diet to maintain is eat real food then a protien shake for the next that way you will for sure be hungry enough to eat the next meal. also when taking in protien make sure you take it with carbs or your protien will be used for energy and not for building muscle. some things to eat are boneless skinless chicken breasts steak tuna for a protien. for veggies the frozen bag of mixed veggies work great just have to steam them to keep the nutrients in and also brown rice is a great source of complex carbs. also eat some apples throughout the day and take a multi vitamin.
